Our Pastoral Council is made up of nine selected members of the parish, the Parish Business Manager, Parish Secretary/Pastoral Associate, the Parish Coordinator of Religious Education, Deacon and our Pastor. Members are responsible for representing our parishioners and advising the pastor and staff to help evaluate and determine our parish’s spiritual, social and temporal priorities.
Our Pastoral Council meets on the first Tuesday of the month (except in July) at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Office. Meetings are open, but issues for discussion must be placed on the agenda in advance with either the Pastor or Chairperson.

Members of the Pastoral Council and all Commissions serve a two year-term that can be renewed once, but then members must take a year off.
The Chairperson, Vice Chairperson & Secretary on Pastoral Council serve a one-year term which can be renewed for one year, then they also have to step down from that position for one year.
Our Finance Commission is made up of nine selected members in our parish, our parish Business Manager and our Pastor. Members are responsible for overseeing our parish budget, reviewing our financial statements and status, and providing financial reports to our parishioners on Stewardship Sunday. It is also responsible for offering financial guidance for our capital projects.
Our Finance Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of the month (except in July) at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Office Building. Meetings are open, but issues for discussion must be placed on the agenda in advance with the Chairperson or Pastor.

Social Action Commission
Our Social Action Commission is made up of selected members of our parish, our Pastoral Minister and our Pastor. Members are responsible for coordinating all of our parish’s outreach and volunteer efforts for several charities including:
- Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen
- Churches Active in Northside (CAIN) monthly food drive
- St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry
- Operation Rice Bowl
- Advent Giving Tree project
- Christmas in July program
- Walkers, Wheelchairs, Canes program
