BIBLE STUDY/SMALL FAITH GROUPS
There are a variety of opportunities for one to gather with a small group of interested people who meet for prayer, reflection, and study of sacred scripture. We have two bible study groups, one that meets on Fridays at the Parish Office Building at 1:30 pm. This group meets from September through May. The second bible study group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Parish Office. These two groups utilize the "Quest" series for small groups.

Care Group, our small community of faith, meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Parish Office Building. This group discusses the readings from Sunday's Liturgy and related passages from Scripture.

Special groups are formed during the seasons of Lent and Advent as a way of enriching your spiritual journey during these special times of the liturgical year. All are welcome to join these groups. Please call the Parish Office for more information.  Staff Contact: Linda Smith

SOUP KITCHEN

As part of our community outreach, our parish serves and supplies one meal a month at the Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen. Sponsored by our Social Action Commission, volunteers carpool to the soup kitchen on Gilbert Avenue, usually on the last Saturday of the month, and prepare, cook, and serve a meal to the residents. The interaction with and service to our brothers and sisters in need is a wonderful experience for individuals and families. The Parish also provides financial assistance of $300 a month to cover the cost of two additional meals. The Parish helps the kitchen with a donation of $700 which covers the increased electric bill in the summer to run the air conditioning during meal time. Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin boards at the church entrances two weeks prior to the soup kitchen date. Staff Contact: Linda Smith
